《피노키오의 모험》는 1883년 이탈리아의 극작가 카를로 로렌치니가 어린이를 위해 지은 동화이다. 소목장이 제페토가 장작을 깎아서 만든 인형이 갑자기 말을 하고 움직이기 시작한다. 제페토는 인형에 피노키오라고 이름을 지어준다. 호기심으로 가득 찬 말썽꾸러기 피노키오는 언제나 낯선 곳을 구경하거나 놀러 갈 궁리만 한다. 어느 날 여우와 고양이를 따라서 '기적의 땅'으로 가면서 피노키오의 모험이 시작된다.

The Adventures of Pinocchio, also simply known as Pinocchio, is a novel for children by Italian author Carlo Collodi, written in Pescia. It is about the mischievous adventures of an animated marionette named Pinocchio and his father, a poor woodcarver named Geppetto.

Since its first publication, it has inspired hundreds of new editions, stage plays, merchandising, television series and movies, such as Walt Disney's iconic animated version, and commonplace ideas such as a liar's long nose.

Carlo Lorenzini (1826-1890), better known by the pen name Carlo Collodi, was an Italian author, humourist, and journalist, widely known for his fairy tale novel The Adventures of Pinocchio.
